Born in the UK, lived abroad, well-travelled, now based in the Southeast of England. My clients are at a global scale, in varying industries and sectors. I am an enthusiastic individual with the desire to always look at ‘the big picture’ and ‘to think outside the box’. I pride myself with always wanting to understand how things work, and the Boolean if statement… understanding and predicting outcome from action. My greatest ability is to bring a client’s vision to light. I am happy to work both within a team, and alone. I thrive when the opportunity arises to bounce ideas with peers and clients alike, learning and assisting one and another to create strength and growth. I have a lot to bring to any table.

TECHNICAL ABILITY
It’s all in the pixels.
Over the past 20 years, I have always been keen to keep ‘in-tune’ with the latest software, techniques and technologies. If I have an idea I want to achieve, one of my strengths is to ‘down tools and learn fast’. I am skilled using the entire Adobe Creative Cloud, the entire Microsoft suite, and Figma for collaboration. Although I am excellent with After Effects and Premier for motion and digital, my skillset also excels in 3D Design and Animation using predominantly Blender (with knowledge of other packages such as 3DS Max and Cinema 4D). I attend seminars when possible both online and in person such as UX Brighton.


CASE STUDY | INFRA AI
From concept to creation.
Campaigns, brand overhauls, and looking at ‘the bigger picture’ is where I shine. When approached by Infra Ai, I was excited by the challenge of helping a unique and forward-thinking technology company, whose main goal was public safety, to explain their complex proposition in the clearest way. Working collaboratively with the CEO, and team, we managed to take an initial project and develop it in a way, creating not only a vision, but a brand. From initial storyboarding our journey took us through all mediums, creating one vision, one voice, and one message. I look forward to continuing to work with such a forward thinking and dynamic company.

SELECTING THE RIGHT MEDIUM
Adjusting your approach.

A client can sometimes be too close to a project, beginning with an idea, and lose the ability to stray away from an original concept. I am a great believer in a ‘fresh eyes’ approach. It can take a third party to help reenvisage how a product could be potentially delivered as often the goal posts move as a project progresses. Thinking outside the box and bringing a fresh approach to a project can lead to a change potentially in the medium, or type of delivery required to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the messaging, features or benefits of a client’s product or solution.

Geometric or repetition.
Geometry and mathematics for me is the basic principle behind all design. To create balanced artwork; whether a logo or a composition, the repetition of spacing, margins and points produces a well-balanced and ‘easy-on-the-eye’ result. Through geometry and repetition, designs produce a sense of symmetry and balance.
